The Ukrainian community gathered in the capital of Croatia to celebrate the 34th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. The cultural event had a humanitarian mission — to support Ukrainians living under the conditions of war.
In just one day, 40 tons of humanitarian aid were dispatched. The shipment included medicines, surgical kits, food, toys, and hygiene products. Hospital equipment was also added: beds, furniture, IV and dressing systems, as well as transportation for nurses. Additionally, bicycles and clothing for adults and children were sent to Ukraine. This shipment became the 219th and 220th twenty-ton delivery from Croatia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

“We are grateful to our Croatian friends who stand by us. Such projects demonstrate that Ukraine is not alone in its trials, and our strength lies in partnership and mutual support,” said Andrii Matiukha.
Systematic Support from Favbet Foundation Led by Andrii Matiukha
Favbet Foundation, under the leadership of Andrii Matiukha, consistently supports similar initiatives. Last year, with the participation of Favbet Foundation and the Dobro Dobrim organization, more than 150 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to Ukraine. These included food, hygiene products, and disinfectants for hospitals.
Recently, thanks to the foundation’s cooperation with Croatian companies, Ukraine received generators, transformers, and modern medical equipment worth nearly 3 million euros. The initiative was joined by Dobro Dobrim, Kefo d.o.o., Lochman & Rauscher, Medical Intertrade HEP, and the Government of Croatia.
“We see that Croatian society does not tire of helping. Supporting this initiative is our way of expressing solidarity and gratitude,” commented Favbet Foundation.
