Death toll from Russia’s night attack on Kyiv rises to 15: four children among the victims

The number of victims of Russia’s overnight attack on Kyiv on August 28 has risen once again. According to the latest update from the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, the death toll has reached 15, including four children.
Search and rescue operations continue in the Darnytskyi district, where an enemy strike hit a residential high-rise.
Among the injured are also 10 children.

As reported, on the night of August 28 Russian occupiers launched a massive combined missile-and-drone strike on the Ukrainian capital.
Damage was recorded in seven districts of Kyiv.
August 29 has been declared a Day of Mourning in the capital to honor the victims. On this day, flags on all municipal buildings will be flown at half-mast, and it is recommended to lower state flags on both government and private buildings.
All entertainment events in the city are banned on August 29.

The overnight Russian attack on Ukraine on August 28 also damaged the building of the EU Mission in Ukraine.
