IBM started laying off employees in Russia. A memo announcing the start of layoffs was sent out in early June. The letter says that the decision was caused by uncertainty amid the situation in Ukraine.
Prior to this, IBM has already announced the suspension of activities in Russia.
It is known that several hundred employees of the corporation worked in the Russian Federation. However, according to the letter, the company intends to continue to support employees.
Recall that international technology companies continue to impose sanctions against the aggressor country. Among others , video card manufacturers and bookmakers left the Russian market .
