40 separate artillery brigade named after Grand Duke Vytautas - a unit of artillery troops under the operational command "South". The brigade was established on February 6, 2015. The military coordination of the brigade took place at the Shirokiy Lan test site. The brigade is named after the Lithuanian prince Vytautas, who waged a long struggle with the Tatars, trying to drive them out of the Ukrainian Black Sea coast.
92 separate mechanized brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko was established in 2000 on the basis of the 6th Division of the National Guard of Ukraine. During the new stage of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2022, the 92nd OMBR took part in the defense of Kharkiv in the Chuguiv direction. The brigade is named after Ivan Sirko - Kosh Ataman of the Zaporozhian Sich in the XVII century.
