He also noted that the industrial production of North Atlantic alliance countries should be reoriented to the military sphere. In his opinion, it makes sense to introduce a "peace-time military economy" to conduct rearmament.
Meanwhile, Bauer emphasized that he does not believe in a nuclear war because Russian President Vladimir Putin is "not crazy."
"I think Vladimir Putin is not crazy, and that's good news. He has ideas that don't match our ideas. But he's not crazy. So he's still a rational person," the admiral said.
