Thus, the Russian Tor-M2DT was hit by the soldiers of the 406th separate artillery brigade named after Lieutenant General Oleksiy Almazov of the Naval Infantry Command of the Ukrainian Navy. In particular, it is known that the occupiers' air defense system was hit near the village of Chelburda in the Oleshkivska urban community of the Kherson district of the Kherson region.
According to the publication, it is likely that high-precision 155-mm artillery shells M982 Excalibur were used to destroy the Tor-M2DT.
Judging by the footage, after the first impact, the shell hit the front of the two-link tracked chassis. The occupiers tried to extinguish the fire.
But the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not stop and struck again later. The ammunition exploded a few meters from the combat compartment of the Tor-M2DT air defense launcher, which likely led to significant damage to the vehicle and the loss of occupation personnel.
