Shelling in the Kherson Region: Russian Military Targets Residential Homes, Medical and Educational Facilities (PHOTOS)

Russian troops have once again shelled populated areas in the Beryslav and Kherson districts using artillery, multiple rocket launch systems, mortars, tanks, aviation, and UAVs.

The Kherson Regional Police Communication Department reports on the consequences of the enemy shelling.

Due to the enemy attacks, apartments in multi-story buildings were destroyed, private homes became uninhabitable, and medical and educational institutions, gas pipelines, garages, vehicles, and stores were damaged. Among the injured were emergency service workers. Enemy aviation struck Berislav, Milove, Sablukivka, Shlyakhove, Zmiivka, and Kachkarivka.

In Berislav, the Russian military dropped 4 guided bombs, resulting in at least 16 residential buildings being damaged. Ammunition was also dropped from drones on residential quarters, injuring a 47-year-old local resident. The enemy also attacked a team of firefighters extinguishing a fire in a five-story building with UAVs. The explosion injured a 45-year-old squad commander and damaged an official vehicle.

In Milove, after the explosion of guided bombs, 5 houses and a warehouse were significantly damaged. A 28-year-old police officer from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, serving with the attached forces, was injured. His life is not in danger.

In Sablukivka, a bomb hit a private house, under the rubble of which a 50-year-old man died. His 47-year-old wife died the same day in the hospital, and their 23-year-old son received minor injuries and refused hospitalization.

In Shlyakhove, a bomb hit a private house, and the body of a 60-year-old woman was recovered from the rubble. Also, 11 houses in the village were damaged. In Kachkarivka, a farming estate was damaged.

The police received reports of houses damaged by shelling from residents of Stanislav, Chornobaivka, and Pervomaiske. In Antonivka, a 71-year-old woman was injured due to the explosion of a Russian shell.

Kherson was under massive shelling by the Russian army.

In the Central District, a 52-year-old man was injured due to enemy shelling, and buildings of medical institutions, a goods storage base, and a vehicle were damaged.

In the Dnipro District, continuous shelling damaged a medical institution, a library, private and apartment buildings.

In the Tavriyskyi microdistrict, a 47-year-old man became a victim of Russian shelling, receiving fatal injuries.

In the "Korabel" microdistrict, artillery shelling killed a 70-year-old man and damaged two educational institutions.

Investigative-operational groups of the police, rescuers, and medics worked at the sites of the enemy 'arrivals', collecting physical evidence, documenting, and eliminating the consequences of the shelling, and providing assistance to the injured.

Over the past day, the police responded to 288 reports and messages from citizens about criminal offenses and other events. 18 proceedings were opened under Article 438 'Violation of the laws and customs of war' of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

It is reminded that during the past day, Russian terrorists carried out 101 shellings in the Kherson region, firing 524 shells."
