Ukrainian defenders from the Special Operations Forces thwarted an attempt by the occupiers to break through in the Bakhmut direction, MyUkraineis reports.

"When the Russian occupiers formed a strike-reconnaissance group, SSO soldiers already advanced to intercept the enemy.
The main goal was to prevent the Russians from deploying in combat formations and further maneuvering towards the positions of the Defense Forces.
SSO operators hit the enemy just when he gathered his forces in the accumulation area.
It is reported that the plan of the Russians was foiled, and the enemy did not make further attempts at the planned maneuver.
Instead, the occupiers collected the wounded and killed, which Ukrainian soldiers watched after a successful attack.
Ukrainian defenders fired from RPG 7v grenade launchers. Officially, the SSO does not say where the breakthrough attempt was foiled, but interlocutors of the UP reported that it was about the Bakhmut direction.
