Unique footage of HIMARS work was published by volunteer Pavlo Narozhny on Facebook.
"The first combat use of the M142 HIMARS," the volunteer wrote.
The veracity of the video was confirmed on the page of the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.
Earlier, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that American HIMARS systems have already arrived in Ukraine. According to him, these MLRS will help the Ukrainian army to make the summer really hot for the Russian occupiers.
About HIMARS
If the philosophy of the HIMARS system could be described in one word, it would be the word "compatibility". HIMARS is a missile transporter that includes a whole family of MLRS munitions, including all variants of the GMLRS guided missile and the ATACMS tactical army missile system.
For maximum uniformity, HIMARS is installed on the FMTV (Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles) chassis of the US Army and Marine Corps.
