Ukrainian serviceman Madyar announced that from September 1 to 24, the Drone Systems Forces (SBS) “crossed” the mark of 5,000 eliminated occupiers. As of the time of his post on September 24, the counter shows 5,147.
What the post says
-
According to Madyar, the target of six thousand in September “will be crossed.”
-
He explained the scale: this equals three enemy assault brigades (each assault component can have up to 2,000 “worms” per brigade).
-
He urged followers to track the statistics via the online dashboard “PIDRAKHUIKA.” In just 14 days of operation, the service reportedly recorded 12 million visits from more than 60 countries worldwide.
-
He closed his post with the phrase: “Eyes and Sting — worm horror”, referring to reconnaissance drones (“Eyes”) and strike FPVs (“Sting”).
In Madyar’s terminology, “worms” is slang for eliminated Russian soldiers.
Context
SBS (Drone Systems Forces) is a new branch of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, integrating reconnaissance, strike UAVs, and engineering solutions. FPV drone units play a key role in counter-battery operations, disrupting enemy assaults, and destroying equipment on the front line.
Important
The figures announced by Madyar are the claims of a serviceman and are not official statistics of the Ukrainian General Staff. Official numbers may differ.
Background: Who is Madyar?
Madyar (Robert Brovdi) is a Ukrainian soldier and commander of the famous UAV unit “Madyar’s Birds”, one of the public faces of Ukraine’s drone forces. Since the start of the full-scale war, his team of reconnaissance and FPV operators has become a symbol of the mass, innovative use of drones at the front. With the creation of the Drone Systems Forces (SBS), Madyar has actively promoted drone capabilities, maintained public “loss counters” for enemy forces, and communicated fundraising and supply initiatives for frontline units.
