The enemy suffered the greatest losses during the day in the Donetsk direction
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost about 47,100 of its troops.
Similar data, relevant as of the morning of August 29, are provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total losses of the enemy look like this:
- personnel — about 47,100 (+350) people were eliminated,
- tanks — 1,947 (+5) units,
- armored combat vehicles — 4,269 (+12) units,
- artillery systems — 1060 (+10) units,
- RSZV — 279 (+5) of,
- air defense equipment — 149 (+1) units,
- aircraft — 234 units,
- helicopters — 203 (+1) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level — 844 (+6),
- cruise missiles — 196 units,
- ships/boats — 15 units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks — 3188 (+17) units,
- special equipment — 101 (+2) units.
Also this day, the Ukrainian military stopped the enemy's attempt to conduct offensive battles near Kodem and Zaytsevo in the direction of Bakhmut.
