Fighters of the 92nd mechanized and 40th artillery brigades of the Armed Forces destroyed a self-propelled artillery installation of the Russian invaders during a counter-battery fight.

The video was published on the Facebook page of the 92nd OMBr named after of the basket chieftain Ivan Sirk.

About 92 OMBr and 40 OABr

The 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Kosh chieftain Ivan Sirk is a formation of mechanized troops as part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is located in the village Klugyno-Bashkyrivka, Kharkiv region. The brigade was created in 2000. The brigade bears an honorary name in honor of Ivan Sirk, the basket chieftain of Zaporizhzhya Sich in the 17th century.

The 40th separate artillery brigade named after Grand Duke Vytautas is a unit of artillery troops under the operational command "South". The brigade was created on February 6, 2015. The military coordination of the brigade took place at the Shirokiy Lan training ground. The brigade is named after the Lithuanian prince Vytautas, who waged a long struggle with the Tatars, trying to oust them from the Ukrainian Black Sea region.
