Marines of the 501st Separate Mechanized Brigade thwart Russian attack in Donetsk region (VIDEO)

The soldiers of the 501st separate marine battalion thwarted an attempted Russian offensive in Donetsk region.

A video of the marines' work was posted by volunteer Serhiy Prytula.

"Every morning I look at the statistics of eliminated occupants, and, frankly, it is difficult to comprehend the numbers at first. 500-1000 every day! But then you watch the videos from our defenders, and you realize how the enemy has such losses," the volunteer wrote.

According to him, the enemy's attempts to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders in large numbers did not lead to success, because the marines put up a good fight.

"The so-called "meat waves" of the Russians (is this the famous Gerasimov doctrine? Or is it Zhukov's manuals?) are crashing against the strong wall of our heroic brigades and battalions! In this video, our marines from the 501st separate mechanized infantry fighting unit in the Donetsk sector are jazzing it up!" added Prytula.
