The United States handed over a large consignment of vehicles to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

This was announced on Twitter by the US State Department.

Ukrainian border guards and police received almost 90 cars for various purposes.

The vehicles were donated by the Technical Assistance Division of the United States Embassy in Kyiv.

"The Department of Technical Assistance to Law Enforcement (INL) supports the Border Guard Service [Ed. - SBGS] and the National Police by providing vehicles.

In addition to the armored vehicles, INL has donated 25 Mitsubishi L200s, 35 Renault Dusters, 16 4 × 4 armored vehicles and 13 trucks, ”the US Department of State's International Bureau of Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking and Law Enforcement said.

Vehicles are designed to transport and protect personnel and provide mobility to border guards and police.

It will be recalled that the United States recently handed over 21 armored vehicles to Ukrainian border guards and police .

$ 185 million in financial assistance was also provided.

"Like the military, the Ukrainian border guards and police are courageously fighting against the terrible Russian invasion.

INL has provided $ 185 million to help Ukrainian border guards and the national police, recently donating 21 armored vehicles to protect them, ”the statement said.

The equipment is designed to protect law enforcement personnel.
