Ukrainian Defense Forces conduct exercises on the border with Belarus

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting exercises in regions bordering Belarus.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The tactical-special exercises "Northern Hurricane - 2022" continue in the Zhytomyr, Rivne and Volyn regions. Units of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU), the State Border Guard Service, the National Police and the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine take part in the maneuvers.

According to legend, law enforcement officers and the military are working out the issues of engineering arrangement of defense positions, namely mining territories.

In addition, the units jointly train to liberate territories from enemy forces and means and repel his counteroffensive actions.

Additionally, special forces units are working out the identification, blocking and liquidation of groups of armed persons and enemy ARGs.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed that such exercises are necessary to maintain the combat capability of law enforcement units in areas of responsibility and combat coordination with the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It should be noted that yesterday the army of Belarus began command and staff exercises. According to legend, the military must work out a mobile defense with a transition to a counteroffensive and the liberation of the temporarily occupied territories.

The training of the Belarusian military will continue until September 14.

The main purpose of these maneuvers is to train the command and control bodies of the armed forces and other military formations.
