Anti-aircraft defense of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian reconnaissance drone.

This was reported by the United Forces Group on Facebook.

The enemy drone "Orlan-10" was destroyed by the anti-aircraft missile defense system "Khortytsia" on one of the actions on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The Ukrainian military has published a video of the combat use of an anti-aircraft missile system.

Judging by the footage, the Russian reconnaissance drone was hit by a missile of the Osa-AKM air defense complex .

The occupying forces of Russia, with the help of the Orlan-10 UAV, tried to correct the artillery fire of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

"This morning, anti-aircraft fire fighters of the Khortyts Air Defense Forces began by destroying an Orlan-10 type UAV, which was correcting the fire of the enemy's artillery. Now, the occupying scrap metal will never embarrass the Ukrainian sky and will forever remain in the Ukrainian land," the Joint Forces Group said in a statement.

" Osa-AKM " is an automated anti-aircraft missile complex. It is all-weather and designed to cover forces and means of troops in all types of combat operations.

The air defense complex is equipped with six 9М33М3 anti-aircraft guided missiles. The range of hitting an air target is 1.5..10 km, at an altitude of 10 to 5000 m.

Combat and transport-loading vehicles were placed on a three-axle BAZ-5937 chassis, equipped with a water cannon for floating, with a powerful running diesel engine, means of navigation, life support, communication and power supply of the complex.

The Russian " Orlan-10 " is a reconnaissance drone of medium range, it is used at distances of up to 120 km from the control point, but in autonomous mode it can fly to a distance of 600 km.

Time in the air - up to 18 hours, flight speed - 90-150 km per hour. According to various sources, its weight is from 14 to 18 kg, of which 5 kg is the payload. The launch is carried out from a special collapsible catapult.
