A fighter of the SSO "Azov" destroyed a Russian infantry fighting vehicle, targeting it with a Javelin anti-tank missile complex.

This was reported by the SSO officer and former commander of the "Azov" regiment Maksym Zhorin.

According to Zhorin, the enemy BMP was destroyed by a fighter of the anti-tank company on pseudo Payne.

"Another minus one enemy BMP on the account of SSO AZOV! The vehicle was destroyed by a soldier of an anti-tank company using a Javelin. Emotions from a well-hit shot - on video. Good job friend Payne," said the officer.

About Javelin

The Javelin ATGM is a third-generation anti-tank missile system classified as a "fire-and-forget" system, which has been in service with the US army and a number of other countries since the 1990s. It is designed to destroy armored vehicles. It can also hit aerial targets (helicopters, UAVs) when flying at low altitude.

We will remind, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the positions of the occupiers at once with four HIMARS missile systems.
