Over the course of a week, from January 28 to February 4, 2024, Russian occupation forces suffered significant losses in personnel and military equipment, as reported by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.


The breakdown of Russian military equipment losses includes:

  • 63 tanks
  • 147 combat armored vehicles
  • 234 artillery systems
  • 7 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS)
  • 3 air defense systems
  • 1 ship
  • 290 units of automotive technology
  • 43 units of specialized equipment

Additionally, Ukrainian military forces destroyed one aircraft, three cruise missiles, and 132 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

It's also worth noting that a general assessed the sustainability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense in light of the ammunition shortage.
