In the night to Saturday, October 25, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. Strikes occurred in the Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts, triggering fires. One person was killed.

Update 09:50. One person was killed in Kyiv during the overnight Russian attack, Kyiv City Military Administration head Timur Tkachenko reported. According to the latest information, ten Kyiv residents sustained injuries of varying severity.

The footage shows a very large fire engulfing a wide area. Rescuers began extinguishing it as soon as the security situation allowed.
One particularly telling image shows a farmers’ market set up against a backdrop of smoke from the explosions. It captures everyday life in Ukraine today: people keep going despite Russia’s attempts to destroy us.
According to the State Emergency Service (SES), a non-residential building caught fire at one of the locations. At another site, debris fell in an open area, shattering windows in nearby buildings.

What came before
As a result of the nighttime missile attack on the capital on October 25, one person was killed and at least ten Kyiv residents were injured.

Direct quote: “One person was killed in last night’s Russian attack. As of 09:00, 10 Kyiv residents have sustained injuries of varying severity.”
Details: Police clarified that the body of the deceased man was recovered from under the rubble in the Desnianskyi District. Among the injured is a police officer.
Residential high-rises, a kindergarten, shop premises and cars were damaged.
