The national selection finale for Eurovision took place on the evening of February 3, determining who will represent Ukraine at this year's song contest. The winners were chosen through a combined vote by a jury and the audience.
This year, the duo Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil emerged victorious, scoring 10 points from the jury and 11 points from the audience. The national selection jury comprised Andriy Danilko, Jamala, and Serhiy Tanchynets, selected by Ukrainian citizens through the "Diia" app, which also chose the hosts for the finale - Yulia Sanina, Vasyl Baidak, and Timur Miroshnychenko.
Eurovision 2024 is set to take place in Sweden in May 2024, with semi-finals on May 7 and 9 and the final on May 11.
Recall, at Eurovision 2023, the representative from Sweden, Loreen, won the competition. This marks Loreen's second victory, with her first win occurring in 2012.
