In June 2022, he opened an ultra-modern medical center, Emily Medical Center, in Vynnyky. The businessman did not postpone its long-planned opening despite the war.

When the war broke out, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy had to stop his cigarette business. According to him, many warehouses in eastern Ukraine were looted. It was just plain looting. At the same time, he says, he offered his former tobacco business competitors production space.

About the person

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, who has twice been a member of the Lviv City Council, says he has no political ambitions, and that being a deputy definitely hurts his business. He jokingly says that he has an agreement with his wife: he does not go to parliament, and she does not sing at corporate events (Yulia is a famous singer).

Hryhorii does not consider himself a politician. He says that at one time he needed a way to help people in Vynnyky, in particular, to improve the living conditions of the residents by improving the engineering and electrical systems.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy has been helping the Ukrainian military since the first day of Russian aggression. From the first days of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, he organized a checkpoint to protect Ukrainians from the enemy.

On the second day of the great war, he said on NTA that Putin leaves Ukrainians no choice. According to Hryhorii, his grandmother fought in the war, and he will take up arms if necessary. He emphasizes that one must not betray the basic values, one must be as useful to society as possible, never stop developing and learning new knowledge, and under no circumstances allow oneself to be bought.

Volunteer projects, Kozlovskyy charitable foundation

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy actively helped those who fled the war to western Ukraine after the full-scale invasion. His restaurants fed internally displaced Ukrainians, and a headquarters for the displaced was set up at the Rukh football club. There, Kozlovskyy set up a headquarters to assist IDPs, where Ukrainians could receive the necessary assistance, food, and basic necessities, and where hot meals were organized and they could warm up.

In 2022, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy founded the House of Mercy Charitable Foundation, which helps internally displaced persons. Food and basic necessities are what the entrepreneur provides to those who have lost their homes as a result of the war.

In April 2022, House of Mercy provided humanitarian aid to residents of Bucha, Irpin, and Gostomel who suffered from the Russian occupiers. For Easter, the foundation organized and held the #Easter_for_a_defender campaign, and the funds raised were used to send Easter gifts to Lviv soldiers on the front line.

In March 2022, the Ruh football club and its founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyi, founded the Movement to the Future NGO. The main goal of this charitable organization is to provide humanitarian assistance to temporarily displaced persons, rehabilitate children who have become displaced, and provide assistance to Ukrainian hospitals, hospitals and the military. One of the key principles of the organization's work is cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations in the field of asylum and protection of refugees and other persons in need of additional protection.

Since February 24, 2022, due to the occupation of some cities, about 350 children have remained at the Football Academy, which was established on the basis of FC Ruh in Vynnyky, and have not been able to return home. At the request of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, the Academy took them under its patronage and provided them with housing, food, education, and everything they needed. Hryhorii admits that it was scary when, in the spring of 2022, during another Russian shelling, rockets fell near the stadium.

With the support of the founder of FC Ruh and Emily Resort, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyi, the Above All project is operating to treat and rehabilitate wounded Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.

Recently, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh donated UAH 3.7 million to the Iron Dome over Lviv Oblast. Earlier, he also joined a charity football tournament honoring border guards. The event was aimed at raising funds for drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Requests from the military continue: the founder of FC Ruh sends thermal imagers, night vision devices, vehicles and equipment, laser pointers, sights, etc. to the front.

Philanthropy

Since 2009, he has taken under his patronage the adult and youth teams of the Ruh football club in Vynnyky, actively sponsoring and supporting its development.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy has been playing football since childhood. He is a four-time champion of the Lviv Region Premier League among amateurs (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015).

For Hryhoriy, one of the most valuable things he has done in his life is to join the Ruh football club. He says that it was his love for football that pushed him to take charge of the club's adult and youth teams.

In fact, in the second season after Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy took over the team, Ruh became the champion of the regional Premier League for the first time in its history. Then the team won gold medals. For the next three seasons, Ruh did not give away the championship to anyone.

Kozlovsky's passion for football led him to create a state-of-the-art football academy based at Ruh FC in Vynnyky.

On September 1, 2021, the Football Academy formed its first training groups. The construction of a sports and recreation complex with a football academy near Lviv began in 2018.

"Hryhoriy Petrovych played football himself. He did not succeed in making a professional career, although he had great potential. Markevych once invited him to Volyn, but he chose to study. Then came business and everything else. Kozlovskyy went through certain stages of education in the system of children's and youth football, saw the conditions in which it all happens, and, perhaps, because of this, the dream of a football academy arose, which no one has in Ukraine," said Ihor Dedyshyn, CEO of Ruh.

On September 9, 2021, the Leo Cup international children's tournament organized by Lviv's Ruh football club started, and 188 teams from around the world were invited to compete.
