Chernihiv hasn't heard shelling for a week now. Preliminary figures of victims of the Russian occupiers - more than 700 dead and 40 missing. Approximately 80 to 95 thousand people remained in the city, before the start of a full-scale invasion on February 24, from 285 to 290 thousand people lived in Chernihiv.

The bodies of those killed as a result of executions and torture continue to be delivered to the Chernihiv morgue. In the territories occupied by Russian troops, both single burials and mass graves with dead civilians are discovered daily.

The city still has problems with electricity and water. There are also interruptions in the supply of food, as it is extremely difficult to get to the city due to the destroyed bridges and roads. In the meantime, life is slowly recovering in Chernihiv - a few days ago, on-duty kindergartens started working.

Losses from the shelling of Russians in the Chernihiv region are estimated at billions of dollars.
