Ukrainian partisans recently damaged a railway bridge near temporarily Russian-occupied Melitopol, Zaporozhye region.
This was announced on August 14 by the mayor of the city Ivan Fedorov in Telegram.
“The minus of one railway bridge in the southwestern direction from Melitopol is equal to the complete absence of Russian trains from Crimea,” the head of the city wrote.
The resistance forces helped the bridge to “get tired” so much that they cannot restore it for the second day, Fedorov emphasized.
The bridge on the railway line Melitopol-Tokmak was blown up.
Today, the local news agency RIA Melitopol published footage of the destroyed structure and railroad bridge near Melitopol.
