Ukrainian paratroopers mined the road and destroyed an armored fighting vehicle of Russian paratroopers.
The video was published on the YouTube channel of the Command of the Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"You are watching how the combat vehicle of the enemy airborne troops is to be disposed of in the sacred Ukrainian land!" The Ukrainian military said in a statement.
It is known that the engineering and sapper unit of the 80th separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine prepared various surprises for the occupiers in advance in the form of mined areas.
About of the 80th separate assault brigade
The 80th Separate Assault Brigade is a military unit of the Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the spring of 2014, it was among the first to be raised to repel Russian aggression, and units were sent to Ukraine's northeastern borders. The servicemen of the brigade took part in the first battle of the war in Donbass - on April 13, 2014 near Semenivka.
Later they took part in the battles for Slavyansk. Other units of the brigade were stationed in the Luhansk region, where they fought in the area of Metalist, Georgiyivka and Lutuhyny, Luhansk airport, Novosvitlivka and Khryashchuvaty. In 2016, the brigade was reorganized into an assault and received a tank unit.
